The Basic Culinary Arts Course at Reasons Academy of Hospitality and Tourism Management (RAHTM) is a beginner-level program designed for individuals who want to build a strong foundation in the art of cooking. This course provides essential training in food preparation, cooking techniques, kitchen management, and food safety, equipping students with the fundamental skills needed to start a career in the culinary industry or enhance their personal cooking abilities. The curriculum covers a wide range of culinary fundamentals, including knife skills, ingredient selection, cooking methods (boiling, grilling, roasting, sautéing, and frying), and basic baking techniques. Students will also learn about soups, sauces, salads, appetizers, and main course preparation, ensuring a well-rounded introduction to culinary arts. Additionally, emphasis is placed on plating and presentation, seasoning techniques, portion control, and maintaining hygiene and sanitation standards, which are essential for professional kitchens.
